Parents and Players, 

This has certainly not been the way we expected this season to go. Although we are still hopeful that we will be able to have a season of some kind, our priority continues to be the health and safety of all our players and their families. The city of San Marcos parks remain closed with no announced open date, and the recent Governor's order prohibits outdoor sports involving more than 4 people until May 18th. SMYBSA is developing contingency plans to hold a season during the summer, perhaps in June and July, but unfortunately there are still too many unknowns to make definite plans.

We appreciate your patience and we hope that you are all staying healthy at home. We also hope you will plan to play some baseball and softball when we can open the fields. That will be a great day.
